Badel Pelinkovac Gorki is the most famous Croatian herbal liqueur and a quintessential part of the region's drinking culture. It is produced through a traditional maceration process where a secret blend of medicinal herbs, dominated by wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), is steeped in a basic spirit.
